When Your at Your Witts End!!!

Okay mothers, this one is going to be short and simple today. When you have one child crying for no apparent reason. Another walking around with the cordless phone dialing random numbers to people you do not know, and the third following you everywhere asking 50 questions per minute and telling everything the other one is doing; just simply put them all in their designated beds, go in a closest and close the door, and let loose. Scream at the top of your lungs. Trust me, you will feel so much better....then treat yourself to a nice bubble bath.

What To Tell Your Child When Their Father Is Not There

Recently my six year old asked why her father never comes to see her or spend time with her for that matter. At first, the first thing that popped into my head was because your father is a no good so and so. Then I stopped and thought, I did not want her to feel as though she was a burden to him, so I told her that although he does not come around; sometimes it is the best thing for him not to come around. I told her that she does not like when he comes and visits and then she doesn't see him for months on end. At times its for the best, but make sure you emphazie that you love them no matter what, and that their presence in your life and others is always important.

Get out the door and go!

For those struggling with getting out the house on time with the kids in tow, here are a few ways to make it a tad bit smoother. When you get up in the morning, make getting showered and a dressed a main priority. With the kids and yourself dressed, the only thing you really have to stress about is getting the snacks and other carry alongs ready. Then hopping in the car and leaving should be no problem, because you and your little are always ready to go.

Don't Depend On Any Money But Your Own

As mothers you hate for your child to ask you for something and you don't have the funds to obtain thier wants. So when money is flashed before you, don't think that it will be there for you to keep coming back and grabbing from it. If any, make sure yyour looking or at least stashing away some of the money you get for emergencies. Trust it will help in the long run. So although child support may be useful, do not depend on it.

When the weather outside is frightful

When the weather outside is frightful and your kids are out school, what do you do? Bring school home. No I'm just playing, but keep them busy or they will try to get that last nerve that you have reserved. Bring out the coloring books, the cookie sheets, and the movies. Make them understand that although they are not in school, their minds must still stay at work, and busy. So don't dread the fact that the little ones are at home. Take advantage of it. If you really want to get good use out of them, make a game out of cleaning the house. ;-)

Spending Time

Spending time with your kids is important, it helps them understand how it important it is to have a parent around that cares, and most of all cares about what they like to do. Just simply watching High School Musical 3 or going outside and playing with them. Those simple things are what count, not buying the latest toy or the new pair of shoes. Its the love you give.

Organization is Key

Without organization day to day things around the house or with school can become hetic. In order to maintain sainity in your life, have a daily routine. Keep the kids on a decent betime schedule. Monday-Thursday 8 or 8:30 p.m. at the latest, this rule of thumb is especially important for kids who are in school. On the weekends let them run their energy out, but make sure their in bed at a decent time. 10 p.m. at the latest. Also during the school week prepare breakfast ahead of time. The night before works best for me, since my children love oatmeal, I get the instant packs that are easily pourable, and all you have to do is add the hot water. And when it comes to clothing for the week, iron ahead of time. Sunday is when I choose my daughters' clothes and iron them for the entire week, and I let her choose what she wants that way she still feels as though she has a choice. With these simple things out the way, the work and school week may not seem as bad anymore. And if you get really good at organizing, you might even have a little me time at the end of the day. Till next time.
